Adobe Acrobat Documents
Where it is essential that a webpage retains the look of the original (paper) document, we use Adobe Acrobat to create PDF documents.
Each link to a PDF document is identified by the PDF logo
. The file size of the document will also be displayed on the link.
If you cannot view Acrobat documents you can download the free Adobe Reader at www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
or click on the "Get Adobe Reader" logo below.
Plain Language
Wherever possible we use plain language throughout this website. Plain language is language that everyone in our audience can easily understand. The only exceptions to this are documents which convey text of a technical or legislative nature.
Specialist Equipment
Tameside's Centre for the Visually Impaired has a wide range of specialist equipment to help visually impaired users.
