Learn to Touch Type

Keyboarding

Duration	10 weeks - 2 and a half hours per week
Venue/Times	Learn@St Ann's Burlington Street Ashton Under Lyne Tuesday 9:30am to 12:00pm Please ring to confirm days
Entry Requirements	No formal entry requirements
Main Objectives	You will learn to touch type on the computer keyboard using a combination of Microsoft Word and traditional methods. Learn to type with ten fingers not two To improve speed, accuracy and confidence in using a computer keyboard Achieve a minimum of 15 words per minute Type letters, numbers and symbols
Method of Study	Tutor-taught workshops.
Materials Required	All learning materials provided.
Assessment Methods	Continual assessment throughout the course. No formal exam
