Application For A Grant Towards Alleygating Scheme

We are interested in implementing a gating scheme to an alleyway/passageway which, to my knowledge, is not a designated footpath or right of way and which is the responsibility of the residents within this area.

I can confirm that all residents who would be affected by the scheme are in agreement to the scheme being implemented.

My neighbours and I will be responsible for the future maintenance and upkeep of any gates installed.

I understand that payment of 75% of the cost of the scheme will only be made by the Council on inspection of the completed works and on sight of the original invoice and provided that the alley-way is unadopted.

I understand that I must comply with any planning restrictions that may apply and that in the event of planning permission being necessary for any reason that I will submit the relevant applications to comply.

I am willing to be the contact address for the scheme in the event of any queries which need to be clarified by the Council.
