Tameside Arts and Engagement offer a full range of opportunities for Education and Lifelong Learning in Culture and the Arts within Tameside.

This includes a full Arts Award offer from Discover to Gold supported by Curious Minds and Trinity CollegeLink to External Website through a large cohort of partner organisations and freelance artists. Find out more about our Arts Award logs here.

Whilst much of this work is delivered in Tameside’s schools through the curriculum, a wide programme is also offered through community organisations and for individual children.

Tameside have developed a five year strategic plan to develop this work which has resulted in regional and national recognition.

The service also offer environmental and heritage education in both formal and informal settings which offers the John Muir award for environmental education to participants.

Through partners the service also offers support to early years families and a range of lifelong learning opportunities including theatrical productions, lectures, talks and workshops mostly delivered on a free of charge basis.
