A Woman of Denton

The plaque is located at Denton Town Hall (previously located at Wilton Street, Denton, which was formerly Wilsons Hat Works). It commemorates all those women who worked in the hatting industry during the time of Industrial Revolution and pays tribute to their fortitude.
