Carers News Update
Carers News Update
February 2010
This section of our website is to highlight new developments and events in Tameside and nationally, which might be of interest to Carers and their families. We'd also like to hear from you if you have any feedback to give us about the website.
'Signpost'
The next edition will be out this month. If you are a Carer of someone living in Tameside, you can receive the newsletter and our other regular mail-outs (don't worry, we won't try to sell you anything!) by joining the Carers Register. This is a confidential mailing list and the benefits are that you'll get all the latest information and the chance to apply for Carers trips and activities, as soon as it's available. Carers contributions to the newsletter are welcome and you can contact the Carers Centre on 0161 342 3344.
Suggestions Please!
The Carers Centre Team organise trips and activities to enable Carers to take a break from routine and we are always looking for new ideas for these. If you have any suggestions for interesting places to visit (we need to be able to get there and back in a day without too much travelling time) or activities please let us know here at the Centre. (see contact details below).
If English is not your first language and you would like interpreted/translated information on any Carers Centre services, you can contact Pratibha Chohan at the Carers Centre on Tuesdays or Wednesdays on 0161 342 3344.
Drop-in: between 10.00am and 3.00pm Monday to Friday.
