The Safe Parenting Handbook 3.12 MB is intended to help you in being a parent or carer of children, one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs there is.

As parents we will all be worried and tested from time to time. It is often in the way we handle this that will make such a difference to our children's lives.

At these times it can be hard to think about what help we need. This handbook discusses some of the warning signs and offers ideas to help find a way through them.  We hope that this handbook will be a help to all parents and carers as well as everyone that works with children and young people. And please do contact any of the organisations listed in this booklet. As they say, 'a problem shared, is a problem halved'.
