3. Board

3.1 Membership

The Board shall comprise the Members of the Executive Cabinet and the Chair of Council Business together with the Chief Executive and the Executive Team.

3.2 Terms of Reference

The Board has no decision making powers but shall be used as a forum to provide for:-

1. the exchange of views between the Executive Management of the Council and the Executive Cabinet
2. to progress an agreed programme of business reviews and review of implementation of policies and strategies;
3. to be innovative in the pursuit of community leadership and the local delivery of services by the Council and its strategic partners;
4. to consider an annual report of the Assistant Chief Executive (People and Performance) in respect of early retirement, ill health retirement and voluntary redundancies.
