Consumer Advice

The Section provides a free comprehensive advice service to both consumers and traders on all consumer protection matters.

The Advice Centre will:-

• help consumers by advising them of their legal rights when buying goods and buying services;
• help consumers in pursuing justifiable complaints against traders;
• advise traders on their rights and obligations;
• negotiate with traders on a consumers behalf in order to resolve complaints;
• advise on how to pursue a claim through the civil courts.
