Attended majority of the District Assembly meetings.

Participation on Outside Bodies and Partnerships

• Member, Greater Manchester Pension Fund Management Panel. Attended 3 meetings and attended several training sessions, day/evening in Manchester.

Constituency Work

• Attended all monthly Ward Branch and Executive meetings
• Attended PACT meetings (Police And Communities Together)
• Attended Residents Association meetings
• Conducted numerous visits to constituents, which included planning applications, refuse collection, highways concerns, pedestrian crossings.

Members’ Advice Surgeries

Held very productive monthly advice surgeries at Mottram Road Conservative Club and Stalybridge Civic Centre.

Training and Development

Resource and expenditure development.

Achievements during the Year

Continued donations to the local Tennis Society and Scouting movement.

The youth facility at Copley being brought into service. Also the initiation of Street Pastor program within Stalybridge Town Centre.
