Participation at Council Meetings and Panels
I have attended all Full Council meetings, Scrutiny meetings and Speakers Panel (Planning).
Participation at District Assemblies
I have attended all Denton and Audenshaw District Assembly Meetings.
Participation on Outside Bodies and Partnerships
I am very involved with Linden Road School and Residents Association. I am a Homewatch Co-ordinator and a Member of the Friends of Denton Station. I also attend BSL for the Deaf.
Participation on School Governing Bodies
I continue to serve as a Governor at St Thomas More RC College, which specialises in Maths and Computing with Applied Learning.
Constituency Work
As a local Councillor, I have case-work everyday. I am also involved with Food for Life, T3SC and Homewatch.
Members Advice Surgeries
I hold Advice Surgeries with my Ward colleagues on the last Sunday of the month at St Mary’s Church, the 1st Monday of the month at Denton Labour Club and every Thursday afternoon (12 noon – 1pm) at Victoria Community Centre. I continue to ensure that I deal promptly with all issues of concern raised by residents.
Achievements During the Year
I was proud to represent the people of Tameside when I travelled to see the Pope at Westminster and I continue to help the residents of Denton and Tameside in my work.
