Achievements during the Year
I feel I have shared good work around the Ward and involved residents with newsletters and visits.
We have had success with safety measures on Yew Tree Lane, got a bus stop moved and a bus shelter erected.
Redrow Builders finally accepted ownership of what has become hazardous steps in an area of the Ward. We are in the final stages of a controversial planning application, but overall have accomplished some great schemes i.e. alley-gating areas which continue in popularity. Clean ups have been systematically done, sadly too much litter and graffiti continues but we won’t give in. We move even forward.
I have given support to various associations as always and will carry on doing so while I can. I also thank all the residents who have joined in these activities, some of which would not have happened without their enthusiasm and support.
