Constituency Work

I have dealt with many constituent enquiries throughout the year including issues such as refuse collection, road conditions, street lighting, re-cycling, council tax and various council related services. We held the popular pensioners parties throughout the year which were extremely well attended and thoroughly enjoyed.

Members’ Advice Surgeries

Monthly advice surgeries with my Ward colleagues are held at Dukinfield Town Hall.

Training and Development

I have attended various training sessions specifically designed for Elected Members and also various IT training sessions.

Achievements during the Year

As Head of Heritage and Tourism, once again Stalybridge Splash was a huge success as was Bands in the Park, the unveiling of various statues in the Borough including bronze maps and blue plaques, numerous musical events, St. George’s Day celebrations and Christmas switch-ons.
