I have attended all Full Council Meetings and any special meetings when called.

This year I have served as a member of Children and Young Peoples Scrutiny Panel.

 Participation at District Assemblies

I am a member of Ashton District Assembly and have attended all of the meetings held this municipal year and I have also attended any special meetings called regarding the budget and any other essential items.

Participation on Outside Bodies and Partnership

I am a member of the Greater Manchester Fund and Ethics Audit Panel.

I am chair of Information services (Greater Manchester Pension Fund.

Constituency Work

I attend PACT which are held at Broadoak Community Centre for Hurst Ward.

I have attended various Public, Residents and Tenants meetings and also met constituents in their own home if necessary.

There have been a lot of environmental improvements done in the ward and these are improving all the time.

Members Advice Surgeries

I have attended all Ward surgeries which are well attended by constituents who have raised not only their own personal problems but problems generally within the ward. This has given us the opportunity to put most these issue rights.

Achievements During the Year

The main achievement in the Hurst ward is the two New High Schools one opened two weeks ago and the other school is due to open in September this year which is great for the area.

Induction training for new members (etc- constitution, district Assemblies, Planning and Finance)

Ward Councillors and Community Leadership Training.
