Participation at Council Meetings and Panels

I have attended all Full Council meetings, Services for Children and Young People Scrutiny Panel. I have attended many visits to schools and have served on the Speakers Panel for Planning.

Participation at District Assemblies

This year, I was appointed Chair of Hyde District Assembly and have helped organise many events including the children’s pantomime at Hyde Clarendon College and the Christmas Party for the elderly people of Hyde.

Participation on Outside Bodies and Partnerships

I am a Member of the Hyde War Memorial Trust and have been very involved with the Grafton Centre and the Café at Hyde Park, bringing honey bees and an orchard to Hyde Park. I have also been involved with the groups at learn@union street.

Participation on School Governing Bodies

I am a Governor at Oakfield Primary School and have attended all meetings.

Constituency Work

I have done a lot work in the local area including Hyde Park and the Grafton Centre.

Members Advice Surgeries

I have held surgeries each month at Hyde Flowery Centre and have dealt with many problems.

Training and Development

I have attended many training sessions throughout the year.

Achievements during the Year

I am very proud of bringing the bee hives and the Celebration of Youth event to Hyde Park. One thousand children watched the Christmas Pantomime at Hyde Clarendon College and I have enjoyed my work and events at the Grafton Centre.

I enjoy being an Elected Member and like to think that I do work hard and do a good job.
