Quarry Car Park Path
Car Parking : Quarry Car Park, top of Joel Lane, Gee Cross, Hyde.
A short pleasant route from the car park through the Country Park meadows with excellent views along the way. The path extends to the cenotaph.
Leave the car park and cross the road to take the path through the wooden gate. The path is level and of compacted stone. There are two picnic sites and several benches at regular intervals.
Windy Harbour Picnic Area
Car Parking : Windy Harbour Car Park, Werneth Low Road, Gee Cross, Hyde.
A small sloping picnic area, gradient 1:14, with a grass surface and two picnic tables. There is car parking alongside. This scenic site overlooks the Etherow Valley.
