Conservation Day in Stamford Park
A variety of tasks in this well-used park. No experience is required, just a willingness to join in and learn new skills. Please make sure you bring a packed lunch. Please wear strong footwear and waterproof clothes.

Join John and Margaret on this moderate 11 mile ramble through the woods and over the moors to the heights of Tameside.

Country Park Round – Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Stalybridge Country Park
Walk the route of the first event at Stalybridge Country Park. on 18 October 1992. Through Lower Brushes, over Wild Bank and around Swineshaw.

Hedge restoration which involves coppicing the hedge and planting in the gaps.

Conservation Day on Silver Springs.
Coppicing; cutting back trees and shrubs to provide a varied structure and light levels which will provide a better habitat for wildlife and planting native species of trees.

Golden Days
Enjoy the wonderful autumn woodlands of the Medlock Valley on this approximately six mile walk around Park Bridge and Daisy Nook.

Conservation day at Woodview
Coppicing willows to provide a varied structure and light levels which will provide a better habitat for wildlife and planting native species of trees.
