Located at the foot of the brushes valley in the village of Millbrook . Stalybridge Country Park Information Centre provides a vital resource for any visitor to the Park.
The centre provides information on the country park, local and national trails which run close by. Providing advice on the access land covering moorland at the top of the valley, walkers can stop by to find out the latest restrictions affecting open access in the area.
The centre provides leaflets on routes linking to smaller areas of the country park in the nearby conservation area of Carrbrook Village , the village has it's own Heritage Trail.
The centre is a base from which the ranger service for the area is run. A varied events programme exists including guided walks and children's activities (link to events page). We have facilities for school or community groups who would like to further explore the area.
The centre sells a range of maps and leaflets. A toilet is available for use when the centre is open. Access to the centre is restricted by steps, but paths within the park are suitable for all.
