Cycle Forum (Draft Note)

Meeting Held 6.00 pm Monday 21st September 2009 at Ashton Council Offices

Due to administrative arrangements detailed minutes are not available.

However at the meeting a number of diverse issues were raised in connection with the current highway capital programme and other associated matters which Forum Members disagreed in the way they were being taken forward. The Chair of the meeting took note of these comments.

A request was also made for a family type cycle ride to take place along the length of the NCN66 linking Ashton and Oldham in order to promote the route for all users. The Chair agreed to in principle to take this forward for consideration. Any such ride would be held during spring 2010.

The chair of the meeting agreed to report updates on all matters at the next meeting (12th January 2010)
