Children & Young People Plan 2010-2013
Ameena has sent out a document with attached questions and discussion points which will help to develop Tameside’s Children & Young People’s Plan 2010-13. We are consulting with and involving a wide range of staff and young people and their families in it’s preparation to gain as many views as possible to ensure that managers and teams are fully engaged in the process of jointly agreeing the objectives and targets we are setting for 2010-13. The 3 year plan will take effect from next April of next year.
Justin Wiggin is progressing with children and young people and families feedback
This is not a single agency plan, everyone has a duty to contribute and work towards to it.
CYPSP is Tameside’s Children’s Trust board, where the government will need to agree our priorities. We think this may include Alcohol, Health and Obesity.
Multi Agency Day
The multi Agency Day is set for 3rd November 2009. Ameena will gather the feedback together from this.
Item 5: Area Intervention Team Update
A consultant has put together a report with the aim to produce a plan in October/November with small Integrated teams of around 5-8 people who are key individuals, to be set up by January 2010.
The report should be submitted by 15th October to the Children and Young People’s Strategic partnership. The ACMT meeting will be reviewed after December 2009, as there may be duplication.
Item 6: Common Processes Update
The JASPER Statistics have been sent out
The document “A Snapshot of CAF” was circulated to the group. The document gave an insight into the number of CAF’s being undertaken and was broken down into areas, age groups and figures. This gives indication that the use of CAF’s are rising.
