Item 1: Welcome
Annie welcomed everyone to the meeting and introductions were made around the table.
Item 2: Apologies

Item 3: Notes of last meeting and matter arising
Minutes agreed as an accurate account
No matters arising
Item 4: Data Presentations
PIP: Lorraine Kitching gave a presentation around the use of PIP.
Details giving on how to register on PIP and the sorts of data you could obtain from the site.
Tracy followed on by giving a PowerPoint presentation of the Area Profile using information obtained from PIP.
The group were encouraged to register and PIP and then to think about the sort of data that might be useful to be included on PIP.

Item 5: Common Processes
Jane-Ann presented information regarding CAFs
- 121 CAF’s to date have been received by Jane-Ann
- Schools doing the majority of CAF’s
- Agencies have contributed to CAF’s even if not instigated
- Importance record CAF’s on JASPER
- Figures are rising for CAF’s undertaken
- We are in the middle range in the North West for CAF’s completed
- Some other boroughs don’t report on information to share, just on CAF’s completed
Data was distributed showing staff trained – Is training value for money?
Annie asked if qualitative checks had been made on children who have had a CAF completed.
Jane-Ann responded that this is in the development stage
Tracy
- There is a need to look at issues that brought on the CAF
- Look at the issues for the mid years group
Jane-Ann needs to discuss training on the role of the lead professional
Action: Jane-Ann to provide a breakdown on the reasons for the CAF
Item 6: Area Intervention Teams
Tracy updated the team with regards to the Area Intervention Teams
As a result of the Sinead Brophy consultation a series of workshops have taken place.
There is a real recognition that the ACMT doesn’t want to be lost during the transition period
Tracy asked members of the meeting to give feedback to her if they attend any upcoming workshops.
Item 7 SCYP Restructure and changing roles
Tracy gave an update on the restructure
- The restructure is now complete
- SUM’s post now all recruited to
Item 8 Any Other Business
Maxine from the Youth Service distributed posters and leaflets regarding the Weekend Activities planned for the forthcoming weekend.
Christine Redmond informed the meeting that this was to be the last Ashton meeting she would be attending as she is moving to the Droylsden area.
Annie thanked Christine for her contribution to the group.
