1. Caroline Gregory was omitted from the apologies.
2. Page 2 of the minutes incorrect date of the meeting NC noted that a copy of the RBA document had not been forwarded with the minutes. This was an oversight as the information was included on the back of the Report Card SG is happy to forward the Results Based Accountability Information.
Action: - JB will send this out with the minutes.
Item 4: Theme for the meeting
The group used this meeting to discuss theme 3.1 ‘Parent and carers receive support in helping their children enjoy and achieve.’ SG noted that as requested at the meeting no information had been sent to her on this theme prior to the meeting. The group went round the with each member giving an overview on how their service provides parents and carers with support in helping their children enjoy and achieve. Several members of the group noted that they have some evidence to support this theme within their services.
It was agreed that those that have some evidence are to provide a small paragraph to SG by 03rd August 2007, when the group will discuss the next steps to take to improve any troubling areas. SG will send out a template that can be used to feed back evidence. If anyone is able to complete a report card, this would be extremely useful. Sue is happy to meet with individuals if this would be helpful.
Action: - SG to send out feedback template & all group members to complete with a short paragraph and send back to SG.
The group discussed how some of the impact on outcomes can be measured i.e. parent surveys etc. JS noted that one of the amber areas is collaborative working and noted that this should be improved. It was suggested that a representative from the Voluntary sector should be invited to join the group, SG noted that she would invite Veronica Hyde to join the group.
Action: - SG to invite Voluntary Sector to the group
