Children’s Trust Development Session
Partners have previously declared their commitment to continued partnership working outside of any statutory requirement to do so. The issue remains, of moving the Trust on in the development of integrated activities, with children, young people and their families at the heart. In order to move closer to families, we need to strengthen and develop our integrated locality working in the context of our family strategy.
Using the time already set aside for the Trust meeting in November it has been agreed that would provide time to consider:
- A re-commitment to partnership working and the implications of this;
- A joint understanding of ‘neighbourhood/locality/community/area’ and how families can be better involved in local service planning;
- Ideas about the steps needed for joint planning and the alignment of budgets, to enable more effective intervention with families who are most at risk of poor outcomes.
