Youth Zones

Tameside has 3 ‘Youth Zones’ in the form of mobile trailers which will allow young people to enjoy activities as they move around the borough to the heart of communities that need them.

These are 4 x 2 metre ‘zones’ that provide activity areas in places that have no other bases available. They are used on Friday and Saturday nights, during school holidays, at events such as family fun days and special occasions like Splendid Weekend.

Each trailer has a theme of Adventure, Multimedia or Sport:– and offer young people the chance to get together and do something that interests them, whether it’s sports, a new challenge or based around interactive media. They can build their confidence, learn new skills and discover talents they didn’t know they had!
