- Integrated working
The Core Briefing programme is an excellent opportunity to gain an overall understanding of the local priorities, to encourage signposting and information sharing.
If you work or volunteer with children, young people and their families you should access the Core Briefing Training either by attending a 90 minute workshop on each priority or by completing courses from the e-learning programme. Check with your line manager before enrolling.

- Have an overview of the key learning points on each of Tameside’s priority areas
- Be enabled to identify priorities relevant to families they support
- Give knowledge on addressing low level need or signposting families to specialist services, and how the services can help.
The Core Briefing programme should be seen as just one part of a wider workforce strategy for all participants.
