Frontline Members of District Assemblies
Set out below are the job profiles for Members of District Assemblies giving them specific areas of responsibility within a brief.
- To attend all meetings of the District Assembly and meetings with the appropriate Cabinet Deputy.
- To report to the District Assembly on matters within their brief.
- To work with the Town Manager on matters within their brief requiring attention.
- To report matters within the District Assembly area to the Town Manager or relevant Service Unit Manager.
There are four key briefs to be dealt with, each one by an individual Frontline Member. The briefs are:
- Community Safety
- Environment
- Young People's Issues
- Local Liaison
