The Dream Goal: Kick Off
The Dream Goal Kick Off took place on March 25th 2006 at Curzon Ashton Football Club, on Richmond Street in Ashton-under-Lyne. Over 150 children and adults came along to take part in football activities like beat the goalie and speed shot. They also joined in with design your own strip arts sessions, listened to performance poet Performance poet Terry Caffrey
, found out about all the football books Tameside Libraries have and got to hear about other Dream Goal activities that are coming up. Watch this space for photos from the Dream Goal Kick Off - they will be coming soon.

Children & Teenagers
- Today was really great. There was a lot of different things to do which kept us all busy. Thanks. Ste.

Adults
- Both my daughter and son have had a great day. My son is usually quite shy but everyone was really great with him, and my daughter loved all the activities.
- Today was very entertaining, my two boys enjoyed it very much. We will visit the library soon. Thankyou.

- Good to see kids encouraged to play football.
- Anyone who misses out on the "Dream Goal" action will be as sick as a parrot. Lots of fun for kids and adults alike - lots to find out about and I really liked the poet.
- There were lots of different things to do. The guy doing the poetry was fantastic and our children really enjoyed everything.
- This was a great afternoon and was a lot of fun for the children. It is the first time my daughter has run around and joined in.
- There are lots of games and things for my lads. They both enjoyed the day.
