Quality Assurance Success

Four private day nurseries across Tameside have achieved the Gold Award of 'Pathways to Quality in Tameside' Quality Assurance Award.

Congratulations to The Bungalow Private Day Nursery, Georgie Porgies Private Day Nursery, Clockwork Private Day Nursery and Jeffrey’s Corner Private Day Nursery!

Congratulations also to Castle Top Private Day Nursery who achieved the Silver Award.

All the teams have dedicated their time, effort and commitment to reflecting and developing their practice to ensure the very best for their children and families. 

Pathways to Quality in Tameside is managed by the Early Years Quality Team and was recently re-developed in partnership with early years and childcare settings within Tameside in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (DFES, 2007) and Every Child Matters outcomes (DFES, 2006).

It is a quality assurance scheme for all types of play, care and education provision.

The main aim is to assure the quality of experiences for children and their families above the minimum statutory requirements.
