EY01210 ILM Introduction to Leadership & Management
This course is open to:
Practitioners who work with children from birth to 60 months in PVI settings, Children Centres, LA Schools and Out of School clubs
This course is designed to help those attending to identify the factors that will influence their choice of leadership styles or behaviours. (This course is worth 2 credits).
- To understand leadership qualities and review your own leadership qualities and potential.
- Explain why leadership styles and behaviours are likely to have a positive effect on individual and group behaviour.
- Describe appropriate actions to enhance your own leadership behaviour in the context of the particular leadership model.
- To explore the role of trust and respect in effective team leadership.
This course can form part of a Level 3 Award in First Line Leadership and Management
