Activity:Stalybridge Civic Hall -provide multipurpose theatre and recreation venue planned to begin to 2003 and complete 2004

Progress: Various options and costs of development are currently being investigated. It is estimated that work will commence in early 2004.

Activity: Denton Town Hall refurbished to provide local police post and customer first centre and is due to open in 2003

Progress: Denton Town Hall has been extensively refurbished. The Customer First Centre has been completed with the Police Post due for completion in September 2003.

Activity: Dukinfield Town Hall refurbished to provide improved community facilities, registry office and teacher training facilities.

Progress: Three Planning Applications have been prepared and submitted and are due to be heard this coming Autumn.

Subject to planning approval, works should commence in November with completion scheduled for summer of 2004.
