Activity:Religious Organisations are invited to apply for financial assistance towards building repairs to their facilities that are used by young people. The repairs to a building that are grant aided should benefit the young people of the Borough and for every pound the applicant puts into the repairs the Council will give a pound.

Progress: The scheme was completed in late March 2003 and a number of grants were awarded to the following towns:

Hyde
Denton
Longdendale
Stalybridge

A total of six grants were awarded funnelling £21,620 worth funding aid to youth schemes.
