We want to demonstrate how we can help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to exploit electronic communication technologies for commerce. Technologies such as; the Internet, world wide web (www), e-mail, e-commerce and electronic data interchange (EDI).
The European Union and the UK government are all encouraging the provision of support to SMEs to enable them to benefit from the tremendous opportunities the Internet and World Wide Web has to offer.
Local Government is also being encouraged to use the Internet and shortly many services will be available by this method.
In Tameside we can provide free professional advice and guidance to help companies come to grips with the implications of the communications revolution.
