The Grafton Centre
The Grafton Centre is Tameside’s 1st Active Ageing Centre, it is situated on Grafton Street Hyde close to the local town centre.
It is a very popular venue, which hosts a wide variety of activities for the over 55’s living within the community to enhance their overall health and wellbeing. The more popular activities taking place at present are Tai Chi, Dance and Artist workshop to name but a few. To see what's on this month take a look at the Grafton Centre Monthly Activity Calendar.
There is also various social groups meet at the centre to see what is currently being run there take a look at our libraries data base.

The centre also produces a regular newsletter take a look at our winter edition which is full of activities and news.
Luncheon Club
The centre hosts a luncheon club that meets daily Monday to Friday at 12 noon, a two course hot meal is served at a cost of £2.34. To see what is being served up this month have a look at our luncheon club menu.

Bistro
There is a Bistro on site that serves lighter meals and snacks, hot food is available between 12 noon and 1.30pm just drop in. Interested in a lighter meal take a look at our Bistro Menu.

Opportunities
You may like to become a volunteer, have you got a particular skill or hobby that you would like to share with others. Please speak to someone at the centre or contact a member of staff on the number below.
