Gardening Competition Entry Form

Calling all Gardeners...

Royal Horticultural Society - Britain in Bloom logoThis is your chance to win a major prize and improve the appearance of Droylsden for everyone. Following in from our success last year, join in the fun and help Tameside win again in the Regional and National In Bloom competitions.

Your garden can be large or small, new or well-established. Even if you're in a flat and use hanging baskets and containers for your garden, there's a category for you.

Categories:

  • Best Garden
  • Best Balcony/Patio/Yard or Frontage
  • Best Commercial Premises
  • Best 60+ Contribution
  • Best Communal / Neighbourhood Team Entry 

Every form returned will be entered into a draw for £50.

Prizes:

There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for each category.

  • Lubbe and Sons (Bulbs) Ltd logoFirst Prize: £100
  • Second Prize: £50
  • Third Prize: £20

New Category for 2008! Best School.  A one off prize of £100 will be awarded.

Plus! Your chance to win Best Overall Entry and have your name on the Droylsden District Assembly Challenge Shield and contend for the 60+ Sharples Shield.

All category winners will be entered into the next round of the competition to compete for the prestigious Champion of Champions award for the whole of Tameside.

  • You must live in the Droylsden District Assembly area
  • The garden must be your own work
  • You must not be a professional gardener
  • Only one entry per household/business
  • The judges' decision is final
