Welcome to our Tameside Leaving Care Webpage. These web pages will help you to find the information you need, at the time that you need it. With information on Tameside’s Local Offer to our care leavers. Our care leavers have been involved in developing these pages. If you'd also like to get involved, or would like further information on any of our other new developments, we'd love to hear from you! The process of leaving care and transitioning to adult life can be a challenging and confusing time. This website has been created to tell you about all the advice, support and guidance we have in Tameside under our local offer to you as a care leaver. Leaving Care Service support starts as you approach 16 years of age, where you will be introduced to your Leaving Care Social Worker and Personal Advisor.
