The Prince's Trust
Team is a personal development programme. On completing the 12 week course, each Team Member will gain a City and Guilds Team Award, Key Skills Units, Basic Food Hygiene and basic First Aid certificates.
To gain the qualifications, the volunteers will complete a log book and if any of the Team have Basic Skills problems with literacy and numeracy, it is not a problem, we have 100% Basic Skills support during the 12 weeks.
The Team will leave the course having gained lots of valuable experiences and will have improved Key Skills such as Leadership, Motivation, Tolerance, Working with Others etc.
The team make 90% of the choices of what they actually do within the guidelines of the course.
Nobody loses any benefits and all travel expenses (based on the cost of a weekly Megarider) can be claimed back.
