What is the Local Groups and Organisations Database
It is the largest publicly available listing of local groups and organisations in Tameside. Compiled and maintained by Tameside Libraries Information Service, it is free to join.
How can I search the database?
- You can search the Local Groups and Organisations Database
- Type your search into the box and press enter on your keyboard.
- Your search can be for a group name, activity, general subject or another keyword
- Once you have accessed the database, click on the name of the group in the results list to view full details of the group
- You can expand your results so that you can view the full details of each group in your search
How can I add my group to the database?
Joining the database is a good way to publicise your group and attract new members and is completely free. Simply:
- You will need to register to add your group to the database
- You can add your group to the database. Click on the link to register your group (If you are not logged in you will need to log in at this stage.
- Fill out the online form and we will publish your group details for you
- Alternatively you can contact us via phone, letter or email and we will send you a form to complete and return
How can I update my group's details?
If your group is already listed on the database, you can update your details by:
- Complete update my group's details form to submit current details to us
- Alternatively you can contact us via phone, letter or email
