Droylsden Lively Library Club for Over 55s
Droylsden Lively Library Club offers speakers and workshops as well as the chance to meet new people and try different things. It’s friendly and fun. Things we’ve done in the past include Tai Chi, Origami, author talks and willow weaving. Forthcoming events include Oromos from Ethiopia talking about their culture and their Coffee Co-operative; popular author June Francis talking about her writing; cake decorating demonstration with a festive theme; and international broadcaster and speaker Glennyce Eckersley.
All the events are free and refreshments are available, so whether you’re on your own or with a friend come along and join in.
