Tameside libraries have planned a number of author talks, writing workshops and other special events to inspire adults and families to learn about history. All sessions are free.

Flashback Fiction
Pages Ago is a promotion of historical writing taking place in libraries across the North West. As part of the promotion readers from across the region are invited to enter a writing competition, Flashback Fiction.
There are local and regional prizes in two age groups – 16 and under and over 16.
