Where might you find amazing bubble tricks, comic hero workshops, superheroes and talks by children’s authors and illustrators to keep the whole family entertained for hours?
Building on the success of activities planned to celebrate the National Year of Reading this fantastic event will take place at Ashton Town Hall on Saturday 28th March.
Drop in any time between 11am - 3pm on the day to take part in the fun. It is all free and there is something for everyone.
- Draw along with Lynne Chapman
as she demonstrates the techniques she uses as an illustrator of children’s books. - Meet Stockport based author Philip Caveney
. His most recent book in the Sebastian Darke series, Sebastian Darke: Prince of Explorers finds the hero and his companions journeying deep into dense jungles in search of a lost city where they encounter The Night Runners, enemies that cannot be killed ...because they are already dead. - SmS will be on hand to help children and adults alike develop their very own comic hero
- The incredible BubbleMan will demonstrate his amazing bubble feats!
- Knights of the Empire will bring along some of their fantastic characters including Stormtroopers.
- In addition there will be crafts, a chill out zone for people to relax and listen to stories, competitions and more.
