Tameside Hospital Market

The Tameside Hospital Farmers’ Market is held on the last Tuesday of the month throughout summer from May to September and returns for a special Christmas Market in December. Working in partnership with Tameside Hospital, we have a great selection of stalls selling a range of products from fruit and vegetables, plants and olives to cakes, bread, cheese and candles. The market has proved extremely popular with patients, visitors and staff who have found it the perfect place to pick up some treats at the hospital whilst supporting local traders.

Tameside Council Deputy Executive Leader Cllr John Taylor, who is responsible for markets, said: “We’ve been delighted to work with the hospital on this fantastic project which promotes health and wellbeing while also supporting local traders – both issues that are important to us.”
