Most people don't drop litter
If you spot any incidents of littering from vehicles please report it on the Keep Britain Tidy website www.keepbritaintidy.org
Most people don't drop litter is a campaign aimed at tackling litter on the borough’s streets.
There is also a radio advert for the campaign.
Earlier this year the council and it’s partners launched the ‘Most People don’t drop litter' campaign.
The aim is to encourage people to think twice about dropping litter and makes the point that it’s a minority who drop litter, spoiling it for the majority.
For more information on how to report problems with litter bins, fly tipping or how to report offenders, see the following links:

Most people don't litter is part of the wider Most People campaign.
Tameside Council has joined forces with Keep Britain Tidy to put the brakes on littering motorists. The Council is taking part in a hard-hitting national campaign to tackle the problem of drivers chucking rubbish from their vehicles.
Throwing litter from a car is a form of anti social behaviour and turns our roadsides into a dumping ground for fast food litter, cigarette stubs, drinks cartons and apple cores.
As well as being unsightly, degrading the Borough’s appearance, it is costly to clear. Nearly a quarter of people (23%) admit to dropping litter from their vehicle, according to latest Keep Britain Tidy research. A month long campaign will see posters going up in and around Tameside which remind motorists of their responsibilities.
