Tameside Museums and Galleries Service run art classes for adults at Central Art Gallery, Ashton-under-Lyne and Astley Cheetham Art Gallery, Stalybridge.

Central Art Gallery

Art for Beginners

Why not come along to our new adult art classes for beginners at Central Art Gallery, led by artist Julie Mosley. The classes will take place as follows:

Morning Classes (10.00am - 12.00noon):

  • Tuesday, 26th February 2008
  • Tuesday, 25th March 2008
  • Tuesday, 22nd April 2008
  • Tuesday, 20th May 2008
  • Tuesday, 24th June 2008

Evening Classes (7.00pm - 9.00pm):

  • Thursday, 17th January 2008
  • Thursday, 21st February 2008
  • Thursday, 13th March 2008
  • Thursday, 10th April 2008
  • Thursday, 8th May 2008
  • Thursday, 12th June 2008

These classes are suitable for beginners and no experience is necessary. They will introduce art techniques and materials and will help develop your art and design skills. You can come along to just one of the classes or all of them - its up to you.

Cost per person: £5 including all materials

All abilities welcome, every Monday morning from 10.00am - 12.00noon. Cost £2 per person.
