We offer a wide range of fun art and exciting history workshops at our six museum and gallery sites. For more information view schools workshops
Knit and Natter
A group for knitting, chatting, drinking tea and eating cake. Whether you're an absolute beginner, or an experienced yarnster, this group is for everyone (men included!)
The drop-in sessions are Free. Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, drop-in between 10 am - 1 pm at Central Art Gallery, Old Street, Ashton-under-Lyne OL6 7SG

Adult Art Courses
We run regular adult art courses and classes at our art galleries in Hyde, Ashton and Stalybridge.
Coming up - Watercolour Study Day - Friday 22 May 2009
Taking place at the Rutherford Gallery in Hyde, this is a one day course with artist Sheila Meeks. The day is aimed at those with some experience of using watercolour, looking to develop their painting skills and techniques further. Suitable for those who took part in our Introduction to Watercolour course.

Museum of the Manchester Regiment Talks
Each year the Museum hosts a series of talks, on a range of subjects, often in partnership with other bodies. Each of our talks highlight a lesser-known aspect of our Regimental story.
Some of these talks compliment special exhibitions in the Museum, new publications or events and activities we are involved with.
