The Volunteer Infantry of Ashton under Lyne 1859 - 1971

The Museum of the Manchester Regiment has mounted a special temporary exhibition running from January until December 2006. This special exhibition coincides with the publication of a new history of the 9th Battalion of the Manchester Regiment by Captain Robert Bonner, entitled The Volunteer Infantry of Ashton under Lyne 1859 – 1971.
