Connexions Service

Connexions Personal Advisers can give you information, advice and practical help with all sorts of things like choosing subjects at school or mapping out your future career options. They can help you with anything that might be affecting you at school, college, and work or in your personal or family life.

A Personal Adviser works in your school and his or her job is to help you make the right choices about your future.

Personal Advisers will:

• talk through your ideas and plan your career with you
• discuss courses that may be suitable for you
• discuss Apprenticeships and other work based learning opportunities available to you
• help you to apply.

Your Personal Adviser is trained to listen, he or she won't judge you, but will be able to help you work through a problem or put you in touch with other people who could help you.
