Strategic Planning
The Strategic Planning Service is at the heart of the Council’s vision to improve the quality of life in Tameside. Through the existing Unitary Development Plan (UDP) and the emerging Local Development Framework (LDF) the service develops and applies policies that aim to secure the sustainable development of the Borough.
The Local Development Framework is at the heart of the vision for Tameside. It provides a long-term plan for Tameside and contains policies for sustainable development across the Borough. The list below shows all the current documents and information that go to make up the Tameside LDF.
- Local Development Scheme
- Statement of Community Involvement
- Annual Monitoring Report
- Sustainability Appraisal
