Evidence base for planning policies
Why we have an evidence base
The planning decisions we make have to be based on evidence. Whether it's the number of houses we need or the type of transport we will require in the future. Evidence is essential to help us work out the future needs of Tameside. We collect evidence to help us prepare, monitor and review our local plan policies.
How you can use the evidence base
You may wish to use the documents in the evidence base to support your comments on proposed plans, policies or planning applications.
