Tameside Open Space, Sport and Recreation Study

Tameside MBC commissioned Knight Kavanagh and Page to carry out a Planning Policy Guidance Note 17 compliant Audit and Needs Assessment as an Open Space, Sport and Recreation Study of the Borough in 2010.

The study provides an up to date assessment of open space provision in Tameside comprising three papers; an Open Space paper, a Sport and Recreation paper and a comprehensive Standards paper.  The study will help inform planning decisions, planning policy and any strategies the Council may wish to formulate.
