Strategic Flood Risk Assessment

Tameside MBC commissioned Scott Wilson jointly with Stockport MBC to undertake a level 1 update combined with a level 2 study for the borough in 2010/11.

The study provides an up to date assessment of flooding issues to inform both the sequential approach and the exception test as defined in Planning Policy Statement 25. It also provides the evidence required to inform future planning policy options being considered as part of the Local Development Framework Core Strategy.
